Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as of April 1, 2026. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories as per government rules.
Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final-year students can also apply provisionally, provided they can produce proof of passing their degree by December 31, 2026.
Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the specified local language of the State/UT they are applying for.

-Selection Process-
The selection process consists of three stages:
Preliminary Examination: An online objective test.
Mains Examination: Candidates who clear the prelims will take this online objective test.
Local Language Proficiency Test: Conducted for candidates who qualify the Mains exam before joining. Candidates who have studied the local language in 10th or 12th grade and have proof are exempted from this test.
